1st Anniversary of the House Common Core Revolt.
Has it been a year already? Indeed it has.
One year ago today, Gov. Bill Haslam and the House leadership were blind-sided by the huge majority of Republicans who, along with House Democrats, slammed the brakes on the administration’s mad rush to implement the hated Common Core program.1
By a humiliating vote of 80-11, the House paused Common Core testing, thereby giving opponents time to organize against to the Common Core Cramdown.
Happy Anniversary.
